MALL and other

While speaking about MALL (mobile-assisted language learning, do not сonfuse it with shopping mall) there are 3 main principles to mention:
1. To use everywhere
2. To use by everyone
3. To use in time

About QR

Unfortunately QR (quick response) has not already gained its popularity in Eastern Europe though it starts slowly spreading even there. The code contains small amount of information that can fasten any process where it can be utilized. And then there are plenty of ways it can be used in education. For example QR may serve as the source of additional information in manuals or  in museums as well as while playing some educational games (or quizes).

And one quizlet for you:

It's provided by the University of Edinburgh and it's held in English. The whole course conists of 6 weeks of studying and it is free!

Wikiwikiwiki

Some stuff to read
http://teflpedia.com/

It's one of the wiki's resources giving the access to some useful articles on the english language. Probably if it hadn't been wiki it wouldn't be worth using. But anyway...

The front page is one of the most pleasant parts of this resource http://teflpedia.com/Main_Page
It tells you everything you need to know to start working. Including what is wiki in general and how to use this thing.

If you forget:
Wiki is a web technology used for collaborative publishing on the web. Wiki is a type of server software that allows you to work with data on a remote server on the Web. Users interact with the software through a web interface that lets them read, edit and publish content.

Explore it and get ready to partcipare in the debates!

Everyone knows Google

So this post could've been incredibly complex as had been devoted to the services provided by Google.

But I would like to name onl those which may help you while studying languages.
And unfortunately in this case  there is a little to discuss.

The most obvious one (and the only to use directly to learn language) is Google Translator which actually has been always criticized for being ineffective when translating something more than usual word-combination.
But I personally think that this translator has a really great potential as its one of really few services that can synthesize the translation of a whole text. That actually makes it much more interesting than just a usual electronic dictionary. Yeah, should agree that there is a lot to improve. But having seen this great improvements recently done with the service (even the users can take their chacne and edit the translation-varinats) I have a strong feeling that Google Translator will gain its reputation as a great and professional service to use.

Bookmarks

Actually while choosing the apropriate bookmarks service it woul be wise to pay your attention on perhaps the most popular one - Top-Page.

I guess the most interesting element of Top-Page is its convenient and friendly design providing you with the possibility to make the service as much easy to use as possible.

Add some cool stuff as possibility to synchronize user's profile with all the gadjets you have and unlimited number of bookmarks and you get a great service to use!
